Is photo laureates real? and do they have a real book?Best of 2008 photography anthology?
i received an email today that said my picture was going to be published in the Best of 2008 Photography Anthology book.Right away i saw that they wanted me to pay $60 to get the book,the plague,the certificate all together its $271.I wrote them back and said i couldn’t pay but will my picture still be published and they said yes and it would still be in the book and i can buy it later but in the same email they went on again trying to sell me this book but it says i will be published.Is this real or have i been scammed?Is there really a book cause i cant find it anywhere?and if i have been scammed can i file a lawsuit against them?
I have copyright but i did give them permission to use the picture.The way i found out about this site was i enter their $6500 contest which i didnt win but they said that i have been entered to win.
100% unadulterated SCAM! S-C-A-M!! Tell them that you own the copyright to your picture (because legally you do) and if they publish it without your permission you will take legal action against them.
