Pick Up positive outlook

A technique often used in office when troubleshooting is to look at things from a different perspective. By using this method, a client can experience their situation from a different viewpoint and often their own perspective changes.

, I understand what this mean when I moved into my new house a couple of years ago. I was intimidated by the steep hill leading to my house. It is so steep that when you try to walk it running and end up as, well ….. makes it very slowly!

I liked my new house, but not the hill that led to it. I was used to live in flat lowlands, not on top of a mountain! I was used to talk to my neighbors on the street not wheezing as I was desperately trying to recover breath.

However, my perspective changed a Sunday morning spring. I had decided to treat myself to a lie in rare, but I woke from my slumber by the sunlight filtering through the crack in the curtains. Rubbing your eyes glaze over, I opened the curtains of my bedroom at an incredible view.

The light of morning sun was bright and clouds that travel across the valley. However, the clouds were below our house and was prepared as a thick blanket across the valley floor. I was above the clouds! I could barely see the roofs of houses in the bottom of the hill, and yet from my window I could see the mountains that were miles away. I remembered a picture of the landscape that often appear as a desktop background and took my breath away.

In a fraction second, that beautiful view of changed my perspective of my heritage hill. Instead of seeing a mountain to climb when I went home, saw a way for peaceful purposes, panoramic. Witnessing this wonderful morning rekindled my passion for art and photography, as I wanted to capture that same feeling to inspire fear every time he saw a painting or photograph. It also inspired me to go walking in the rugged mountains behind my house to fully enjoy the power of changed perspective can bring.

So if you find yourself trapped in a situation and can not find a solution, change your pattern of thinking and looking at different. You may not have to climb a mountain to do it either!
