Welcome to this little tutorial. I'll show you how to cook some delicious Jumbo's size carrot muffins using simple ingredients. The method is traditional, so you should have no problem preparing this recipe if you're used to bake muffins. The cooking time may vary slightly from the oven baked so please pay attention to your creations for the last few minutes of cooking!
Ingredients:
* 1 1 / 2 cup flour
* 3 / 4 cup bran
* 1 cup white sugar
* 2 eggs
* 2 c. tea baking powder
* 1 teaspoon baking soda
* 1 teaspoon cinnamon
* 1 / 2 teaspoon nutmeg
* 1 / 2 teaspoon salt
* 3 / 4 cup grated carrot
* 1 / 2 cup olive oil
* 1 / 4 cup applesauce
Method:
First, preheat the oven to 350 F. Then Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, rolled oats, white sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt in large bowl and stir to mix ingredients. Add eggs, margarine and apple sauce and stir again. Now add the remaining ingredients and mix a little more. Line 6 muffin cupcake molds and spoon the muffin dough equally into each cup. Bake for 25 minutes, or until a toothpick or a fork comes out clean after being inserted into one of the muffins.
Conclusion:
These muffins are perfect for breakfast, but ideal for a quick lunch!
You may want to adjust the amount of applesauce in the recipe: add more if you love them very wet. You can also add some pineapple chunks for a different recipe.
