Anyone who likes photography?
I love photography. Does anyone know what can go into a field of photography / type of career as a hobby, but seriously? I love to be able to take pictures for magazines and newspapers … How could I do it? (By the way I some education, but no professional photography, but I was second in a photo contest recently) What is wrong with people?
My brother was the photographer in our local paper for 3 years (now back in the army). You do not have any experience in photography before being hired. He, however, have a great computing experience and they were happy to have him and gave him training in the workplace. From the papers and use the pictures from magazines, mostly digital, I suggest you get a digital camera (I use a Nikon D70, my brother uses a Nikon D100 are far from the most expensive, but they are very good cameras and its format can be used every day) and learn everything you can about it. I also use a Nikon camera, but digital images of my others are cheaper to process. I do not know even a tenth of what my brother knows, but I still get good photos. If you're serious, go to the newspapers local newsletters and magazines. Ask to see the chief photographer or the publisher (in very small villages which may be the same person!). Let him know you are interested in the field and would like to learn more. If you are good that you can let him tag along (transportation equipment, building lights and flashes, get the names of villages, etc.), which is like my brother learned a lot about the cameras: he went along with the picture of local artists in outbreaks site and hung out with him in the studio. In exchange for the formation of value, my brother, he created his website. Start looking for people to take photos, invite your friends and family to raise. Everything you need are two lights and a flash (two flashes would be better to start) get a background of solid color (a white sheet works well) and then start clicking. Get a small portfolio of very good shots and you can have something to take your potential employers. Many people would be happy to get their wedding photos done only for the cost of printing, I'm sure you can find a friend or friend of friends who will gladly let you shoot your wedding. Look around and find what looking for. Good luck! PS Go to your local library? There are tons of resources and if you have books you need, then you can request some. If you are in the system will get them. This will save some money, too. Photographer books tend to be expensive.
