Based in Bristol, United Kingdom, Damien Lovegrove originally trained as a BBC cameraman and lighting director. It took the world of wedding photography assault with his unique style of photography in 2000 and has since become one of the biggest names in wedding photography and portraiture.
Besides a range of photographic services exclusive Damien also lectures, providing workshops, seminars and even mentoring. As well as face-to-face Damien lessons are available in both DVD tutorial style, use of natural light on rental and use of Flash location.
In his DVD, using natural light instead of Damien speaks through a number of portrait sessions with a variety of male and female models in various locations. As the DVD title suggests, the sessions using natural light and not Damien, very openly, provides a multitude of reflections on its methodology and techniques he goes along.
Choice of appropriate places to ask, the choice of target for exposure settings. The viewer comes with a rare opportunity not only to look over the shoulder catch is made, but also having to find the thought that goes into each one.

In addition to the tutorials, there are a couple of Special features on the DVD that I'll go you a long way to answering two questions most frequently asked questions about the photography of Damien, what the post-treatment he uses and what he keeps in his kit bag.
This chapter discusses the contents of his bag is fairly simple. The chapter on post-treatment is an excellent opportunity to see how Damien has five years of taking photographs during the filming of a number of images that make him such a great photographer good reputation.
Damien post-processing is done in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Although I use Photoshop for a number of years and Lightroom for a few months I have learned some very useful tips and save time from the DVD.
The production quality of the video DVD is excellent. This is not a man and his camcorder. The sequences are well edited and the camera angles help to Damien for providing a presentation clear with background music in the air to help set the mood.
For DVD, it is expensive at  £ 70, but when one considers how a session might cost to anyone and the fact that you can replay as many times as you want the cost becomes less important.
All Overall, this DVD is an excellent tool for anyone with an interest in portrait photography in natural light.
