How can I get some of my photographs at a gallery in San Diego?
I am a photographer living in San Diego, and I'm in the place and trying to figure out how to get some of my photographs in galleries in Southern California. Thank you!
Ansell has the right point – visit — with copies. Preferably mounted and ready for presentation. Use high quality paper files and have the shots ready to roll. Photography of all kinds is a very saturated field, including artwork, so it is competitive. A CD-ROM does not show the print quality of employment, nor the quality of paper used or the work that was mounting printing. Galleries sell art that is hanging, and even if the shot is great – if it is a poor document unassembled or assembled wrong – not be particularly for sale. It will cost a decent amount – both at work for the assembly and printing to get some pieces for a gallery – but if you have the potential to make the back and then some.
