It is common when you put your house on the market for you or your realtor to take pictures of the inside and outside your house for use in marketing your home to potential buyers. If this can be a fabulous way to showcase the assets that your house, it seems that for many people it is also a great way to make heaps of trash and 30 year old design that still exists in their house from which they moved in.
Consider for a moment the difference between the two houses comparable price in an area that you plan to buy en.
Home contains a picture clearly showing a home decorated in neutral colors. The rooms of this house have appropriate furniture in each room, dining room has table and chairs, the rooms have beds and dressers, living room has a sofa, coffee table and chairs. The pictures show a house that is not lavishly decorated, but you can clearly see what the rooms look like.
The second house you see images of a wallpaper or sponge walls painted in most rooms, dirty carpet in the living areas, partially packed boxes in many rooms, bathrooms filthy, and pious on piles of clutter on every horizontal surface. Most rooms are hard to decipher what they are due to the strange assortment of items in them as exercise equipment, desk, laundry, and lawn mowers. Did I mention the piles of clutter everywhere?
Now, imagine what a difficult choice is for the potential buyer who sees the pictures of these homes online. Two fairly comparable homes in size, age, and cost, the house where they say it is almost ready to move into a house that looks like it will take weeks to get to the point where it feels like home.
It is likely that potential buyers will pass over the house with the terrible images for MLS the house is clean and tidy, even if it does not work staged for several reasons: the images show a home that seems taken care of, Photos lets buyers know what the inside of the house looks and not just their property, and the house does not look like it will take a lot time and money to redecorate.
