Under-exposure can ruin your photos. But what is it?
In basic terms, is when not enough light sensor. It follows a dark image, dull and lifeless.

Why is that?

To capture a good image of the camera chooses a shutter speed combination and openness, as calculated by the underground. The shutter speed is the time the shutter is open (and thus leaving the light) and the opening is the size of the hole in the lens.

In most cases, the camera will produce good results and select Settings the correct device. Sometimes the camera takes the disappointments of the subject. Because the camera only an average of the total light coming in. when shooting on manual configuration, sometimes the photographer gets a misconfiguration.

In these situations, there is not enough light entering into the camera. This translates into a Underexposure ". A "shadow" or dark areas are too dark and functionality. Details and information is lost.

The solution is to take the image again and choose a larger exhibition with an opening greater speed or slower. You can do this manually or use a clearing "exposure" (read the camera manual to see how).

There are situations where the under-exposure is common. When there is a strong backlight behind the object, the camera is an extension of brightness and reduce exposure to produce and agree a "AVERAGE" result. An example might be someone standing before a large window or an object in the sky. Areas of backlighting the camera underexpose the subject, resulting in a virtual figure. In these cases, try to compensate by using the camera.
