There are many answers to this question, the most fundamental is something comfortable! Babies and young children are antsy enough without forcing us to wear something itchy, tight, heavy or hot. Besides comfort, there are many other things to consider when dressing your little angels for portraits.
- The Birthday Suit newborns and infants have a beautiful skin and does not show anything off it natural, innocent creature like nudity. An added bonus for babies a little older, is that the eyes tend to stand out more when they are not overwhelmed by clothes, and, admittedly, some of us tend to make our babies look silly in dresses which either not suitable, or more like costumes than clothing.
- Mostly White Clothing-This is a look popular baby and children portraits. All white clothing gives a natural and clean images, and is an excellent way to create a classic portrait captures the purity of childhood. It is a common choice for family portraits, as well. White clothing works well for photos Outdoor and studio portraits with a white background.
- Bold Colors-Don 't be afraid to put your baby or child in bright colors or prints. Although we would generally not recommend printing devices for an adult, the newborn (or) bright colors on young children resulting in a playful, vivid picture, especially the primary colors like red, blue and green. (Take a chance of yellow if you know it's flattering against the color of your child.) Bright colors, very pop against the green of nature, you should consider a meadow or woodland for your photos.
- Avoid scratches Stripes may wind up looking distorted in the final image, and as vivid impressions, can be a distraction the subject.
- Layering clothes can be an effective style.
- Several children or family Portrait "Here where it becomes important to avoid copies. Typically, you do not want clothes, very distracting in a portrait because it tends to lead eyes away from the subject. It's nice, in a multi-person or a family portrait, to try to coordinate clothing so that colors and styles are complementary. For example, you do not want a child wearing winter clothes and the other in shorts and t-shirt, or one wearing a dress Nice and one-on ratty old tennis shoes. Choose clothing with colors identical or similar unified image and keeps the focus on people in the picture.
- Accessories and Supplies-Finally, I made some adorable portraits of children wearing hats, tiaras, scarves, fairy wings, tutus same. If your child wears his Superman cape every day, perhaps you should let him bring in a few photos. Why not? You want pictures that capture your little guy is really not true?
