We miss you Nanna. Very, very much.

My first trip sans Liam was successful. Even though I missed him
terribly, we both survived....somehow. = ) In
other news, Liam has two new bottom teeth that have reared their sharp little
heads. The top ones look to follow soon. David walks around the
house with him singing, 'You can't handle the
tooth!' Yeah, it's funny even the 25th time
around.

Hole? What hole? That thing is so history. (yay!)

We had our five year anniversary on Friday. We celebrated by spending
our first night without Liam while Mimi and Poppy watched him. I half
expected him to come running up to me when we saw him the
next afternoon and profess that he missed me as much as I missed
him. That the torture of being away from me was just too much. And
'Let's never part again.' But noooooo. He
was laughing it up with Mimi and Poppy, having a great time, and Mommy and Daddy
who? I'm happy to have such a socially normal kid and
all. But next time, he better ham it up a little more. =

Liam is 5 months old as of Sunday, and almost halfway there to being a
toddler. He has been rolling over excitedly and seems on the verge of
crawling. This is both thrilling and terrifying for me. I think it's
actually more terrifying for the cats. They are senior kitties now and
prefer a more regimented lifestyle.

We have spent the weekend in Keller, Texas visiting Liam's aunt, uncle and
cousin's. We all did pretty well considering a 3 hour drive took us 5, and
Liam is so picky about what kind of music he prefers to listen to.
Fleetwood Mac isn't soooo bad, right? Apparently so.

Ear infections are no fun. Especially when Mom has a stomach
bug.
Worst. Night. Ever.

Tomorrow he will be 3 months old. Has it really been a whole month
since I updated this thing? huh. I'm really bad at
this. Anyway....he is changing so
fast! He is pushing himself up more, talking more, staying awake more, and
not fitting in his clothes more. ha!
He can now face forward in his Baby Bjorn and I walk with him as often as we
can around the neighborhood which is completely fascinating to him. He
also loves to watch Baby Einstein videos, but after a while I feel guilty about
sticking him in front of the TV.
Wednesday is his first day of Mother's Day Out. I'd be lying if I said
I wasn't a little bit nervous. I'll update more later!

TWO WHOLE MONTHS. wow. Is it too terribly cliché of me to
say how fast it's gone by? Well, too bad. Cause it has.
Liam had his shots today. 4 shots and one drinkable vaccine to be
exact. He cried, I cried... It was traumatic, but at least he won't
get the Whooping Cough!
