Can I get a job teaching art or art school with a degree of the first studies of the Children?
.. I'm making a degree in early childhood studies despite being crazy about art and doing BA in Graphic Design, Photography and Literature, and doing a Diploma BTEC National in Art and Design Foundation and get a distinction in this regard. I wonder if to get a job at an art gallery, for example, would that having a degree of art, or for the first time in my career would be enough to get a job in art if the interviewer was to show how I am interested in the field or my portfolio Foundation built at art school. .. I also wondered if I could use my degree in Early Childhood Studies to become an art teacher / head of a art department in a secondary school though arent really connected or if this thanks .. would be impossible for your help!
To teach art to elementary, middle or high school, you should have a degree in Art Education. I guess this can vary from state to state, but with the No Child Left Behind in place, I doubt it – all teachers must be certified to teach his or her area. However, it does sound like it is qualified to work in a gallery, and some galleries and museums with guides, etc. .. for working with their educational experience and art. If you really want to teach art k-12, you would have to obtain the certification of art though. Good luck:)
