No Digital SLR Photography Books?
I'm looking for some non-focused digital SLR photography books. I found a highly recommended / rated books however, all focused on using digital SLR cameras. I am currently using the Canon PowerShot G9 and am trying to learn to take some better photographs, instead of throwing the car – as iv been doing. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated!
You can probably get many of the books of reflex digital. I point and shoot and a Canon digital SLR camera, and both have manual and semi-manual settings (M, P, Tv, etc.). Try reading the manual, play with the settings, and read books from the DSLR. The DSLR books can say a lot about the depth of field, composition, lighting, shutter speed, and other characteristics of digital SLR which also apply to point-and-shoot cameras canon, with manual configuration. Basically, the only thing you will not be able to do is focus manually, and change the 35 mm lens, which most (if not all) point and shoot cameras have. Because of this, and due to point and shoot cameras have an image sensor much smaller, you lose some control over depth of field, but still you can get good effects by using his own body to "zoom" (move closer or further away) in combination with digital zoom. Anyway, I not know any of the books point and shoot camera, but books SLR still has a great wealth of information for you. EDIT: I googled your camera and see which has an optical zoom which can be exchanged for other objectives. This means you can actually get some books DSLRs. Suggest yet more to follow the translation of information in your DSLR camera functions more basic.
