John Bauer works tread a fine line between beauty and discord. The concentration of gestures replicated as a whole sheets evocative descriptions, as condensation of multiple frames of film in a global composition. Referring to the external environment as well as internal psychological state, Bauer uses the monochromatic palette photography and the pixilated effect of print media to increase the sense of virtuality and information overload. His images exude a frenetic, apocalyptic energy reflective of urban experience.
Despite their intense vivacity Bauer's canvases are penetrating austere. Executed with a palette limited gloss and matte black and silver metallic paint Bauer, have a grand elegance, their flat decal surfaces encoded as the glamorous designs industrial and holographic shine futurism. Through the overlapping density patterns Bauer, translucent layers, and emotional distance, the characteristics impersonal scanned images and their separate work processes to obtain a single infusion of subjectivity seamlessly and with an aura of contemplative generic negotiation staff. The fusion of authentic signifiers of abstraction, the reproducibility of the population, and design graphicness fabrics, John Bauer, created drawings where it is refracted visual language, confusing, and rebuilt in disjointed, antagonistic compositions. From each box with a pattern of low high-tech equipment, Bauer carries out its work through a complicated process incorporating hands-free painting techniques such as placing signs, screen printing and spraying that translate Digitized graphics into fields sublime painterly abstraction.
