This article is a course designed to simplify photography from new photographers out there who want to know where to start.
If you really want to learn photography the first thing you need is a good camera affordable and reliable. It is necessary, I repeat, must be able to take full and complete manual modes autofocus. (This leaves out any digital camera on the market right now, sorry.) To really learn photography team must be understood. You have to learn how manipulating the shutter speed, aperture, and the approach will have an effect dramatic in your photos. Meters, if you have a camera that can operate in full manual mode, it must have an internal counter to what is appropriate will do. Tripod, you'll need a portrait or landscape, you need one eventually. Fortunately, you do not spend a lot here. Just something lightweight and durable. Most internal meters will blink on the appropriate aperture for the shutter speed you set, or the speed you set flashes if the F-stop is correct for speed. Both F, stop and shutter speed can be changed to correctly expose the scene. Note that the higher the speed shutter of the light will be needed to properly expose the scene. This is logical if you think about it. If the shutter is not open forever, fast shutter speed, then there is less light able to reach the film and what the scene must be brighter to expose correctly. This is where the camera is fully manual and fully automatic ideal for the amateur. In general, you can configure the camera so that the meter and adjust the flash output accordingly and can still control shutter speed and aperture.
This week's assignment: Have several rolls of 400 speed film, find a topic that may be working with preferably something that does not move and shoot a roll of film.
