There are few among us who lived around the great age of aviation at the beginning, when all aircraft were biplanes, it is difficult for we understand what it was. But if you're curious there, and if you love airplanes, then I recommend a book very enjoyable for you to have:
"The Age of biplane" by Chaz Bowyer; Crescent Books Publishers, Bison Books, New York, NY, 1983. ISBN: 0-517-39939-3.
This wonderful book Photography has over 250 high quality, many photographs in black and white, historic and authentic, with some color photos of the aircraft Restored and replica aircraft from World War Day. Each image has a history with him, besides the illustrations give the reader or viewer a vision the past. Some say that this was indeed the beginning of modern aviation and military aircraft, perhaps, and when he makes you see all these images amazing will also thinking the same thing.
You can see pictures of the Sopwith Camel, Spad, Fokker, Nieuport aircraft peaceful and later, after war, used to transport mail and passengers, then the book will take you to the golden age of aviation. Literally, a trip time of the Wright brothers, to enter the Golden Age of Aviation. What a trip is cool thank you to the author Chaz Bowyer, who was an RAF pilot in 1958 and wrote on the plane for magazines and books in his life.
Personally, I can not think of a best book for a family of leaflets at home or for a business jet, has in his waiting room. It's that good, and maybe you should get a copy too? Think about it.
