My first words to you as you consider the world of wedding photography is “Are you watching Stark mad?”. Why would anyone want to enter this world? There are so many things that can go wrong and this is one area of photography that can not be reshot without redoing the entire event is impossible. You need nerves of steel and the patience of Job.

Now, if you have considered all the pitfalls and the pros and cons and have decided that you’re one of the few elected and can not stand the pressure, here are some tips that will put you on top of your game.

1. Learning digital photography

This may seem simple and broad. If you’re not an accomplished photographer then learn photography and acquire the skills you need to take great photos. If you are an accomplished photographer movie, you can learn digital photography. You need to function as a digital photographer, knowing each of the skills necessary to ensure success. For example, knowing the limits and benefits of shooting with digital, and what can be improved or saved in the digital darkroom. You make mistakes and there will be problems unexpected and you need to know what we can do before having a heart attack and call the bride with bad news. In my own marriage than half the pictures were lost because of problems of the cinema. A fair amount would have been saved had he been Digital.

2. Learn the basics of wedding photography

There are two routes to go with this. First, the self-taught route. Buy wedding magazines and books on wedding photography and study them religiously. Know the types of shot and the people love their favorite scenes. Great ideas come from magazines marriage. If you want to cheat just go to a wedding photographer and ask to see their work or look on the walls of their studio or shop. The second route is more difficult. Submit your services to a wedding photographer as an assistant. Once you’re a wedding photographer, you will realize how precious and assistant can be. Here you will learn many tips and techniques and gather tips that you will not read in books. The key here is new to learn wedding photography on the job.

3. Plan and practice

More preparation than any other field of photography should go to a shoot and wedding planning is essential. Your most major obstacle is the passage of other types of photography to wedding photography. When you actually do the filming that you should know each stage lighting condition, location and sequence of shots. Some photographers go as far as preparing a lead sheet, a sketch of each shot every location, so they know a blow after another and what will be next. Each setting device Photo is noted next to the photo. Perhaps a bit exaggerated to some, but the risk of failure is greatly reduced.

4. Dive into the deep end

Submit your services for free to your friends and family for all kinds of opportunities as unofficial photographer. If you offer enough courage to make a wedding or request permission to take photos over the photographer they hired. Get permission from the main photographer and not put in the path. What experience will do is help you learn the best exhibitions, lighting conditions and using a flash on a regular basis. There is no better than experience and that helps you transition to greater things.

Wedding photography can be a really profitable if your nerves can take the pressure. It is a highly competitive form of photography and many offer cut-throat prices. Do not focus only on the average, but work to develop unique skills that set you apart from others. The final product should be the deciding factor and non-purse person.

The bottom line with any type of photography is learning skills and develop your abilities as a photographer. Learn more about photography and continue to add to your shopping skills to become an accomplished wedding photographer.

Create an image of Fine Arts and photos with Photoshop

Siri Stafford, my artistic director at the time, suggested this image file for me. She asked that the picture because he thought my specialty to use Photoshop to create images of stock conceptual I made a logical choice for the job. Sincerely, loved the idea, but what you got to lightning strikes a tree very look like?

I turned to the technological development has changed radically if the world of commercial photography … Internet. Simply type in the image search from Google "lightning and the tree." Within minutes he had found pictures of amateurs … but obviously real images, which lightning strikes as impressive trees. Now I had something to work.

In my mind, I imagined a vast solitude of the land with a single oak tree. A beam is captured as it hits the tree and the lights of the stage around him. The bolt that illuminates the tree leaves above and behind the same time. The sky is dark storm clouds at sunset.

Photographing oak

There are oak trees, many near my home in Marin County across the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. I explored a nearby open space and a tree of oak that was suited to my needs. I have photographed before noon with a backlit light. At that time, I was still using film and the image captured with a Hasselblad medium format camera with Kodak Ektachrome film. Because the slope of the land could not get the whole tree in, despite my wide-angle, unless the product is put in a diagonal angle. At the same place I found and photographed an area of open ground to the tip of wild oats. In my files I found a picture of a cloudy sky and fired at the distant mountains of low to Santa Fe, New Mexico, with a dirt road winding through the composition.

Make an image of a ray

During a trip last winter to the Ladakh region of Kashmir, often called "the Little Tibet "I have my sight. For a long time after sunset and suffered so much by altitude sickness and one case of aggravated by the fireplace extreme cold in my room without heating. A flash of light illuminated the room and witness the thundering excitement of the immediate vicinity of the strike. Being as how I had never been fired by lightning (it is rare that we get a glimpse into the bay from San Francisco), I managed to crawl under the covers and facing my camera. With his head spinning my fitness stunned me pushed a roll of film in my F100, stabilized on the edge of the window, open the shutter and waited. Boom! Another flash. Repeat the process until I had killed then a roll, shake, back in my crib. As a photographer values using Photoshop to compose many of my images together, I 'm always on the lookout for items you can use in my compositions actions. This effort has finally paid off, I thought, As I scanned two of lightning shoot this picture. I did scans with my ScanMate 5000 drum scanner and scan images of 100 megabytes each.

Using Adobe Photoshop to combine the images in a photo

I started riding image using a mask layer together to paint landscapes and images of clouds. I merged the layers, duplicate the layer again, light curves with a adaptation layer, and then used the layer mask to paint the area to be "enlightened" by lightning. The tree was selected using the palette, magic wand and lasso tools in conjunction with alpha channels. Make a selection from a tree with thousands of leaves is a challenge and in this case requires not only above the sequence of operations, but time is also significant increase of 100% by hand, using Lasso tool, the "clean" even more than the selection of trees. With the selected tree, I copied and pasted into the background. I duplicate the layer tree on two occasions, one with dark corners and mitigate the other. Then I used the layer masking to create the effect of light and dark areas, where lightning illuminates the leaves closest to the beam. Finally, I brought the beam itself, the hit and then set the layer mode to "clarify" only. By setting the mode to "clarify" the pixels of the image rays are lighter the pixels behind the rest of the image becomes the only visible … There was therefore no need to "strip" the background is dark ray (I used curves to darken the image enough to remove all but the beam itself). I used the brush to clear "refine" the trajectory of the projectile.

An image of art or timeless image bank

Ultimately not only a beautiful image, but an array of conceptual values which can be used to illustrate a series of marketing concepts. The image is exactly the kind of image you try to create dramatic, meaningful and timeless.
